2023 Men’s Team Match Play Championship

We are excited to announce the TPC River's Bend Men's Team Match Play Championship. This will be a 1 Better Ball of 2 Net event open to all members. The deadline to sign up is April 13th by 6pm. Please see below for all details of the event.

Open to: All men golfing members

Deadline for entries: April 13th by 6pm 

Format: Team Net Match Play, 1 Better Ball of 2, stroking off the low player.  The Course Handicap of all four players is reduced by the Course Handicap of the player with the lowest handicap, who then plays from scratch. Each of the three other players is allowed 100 percent of the difference.  We will we be using your USGA Handicap.  If one member of a team cannot make it his partner can still play 1 v 2

Tees of Play: Gray Tee with White Tee rule in effect (based on date of match)

Seeding: Determined by combined team handicap 

Entry Fee: $40.00 per person / $80.00 per team

Handicaps: Handicaps will update following each completion of match.  (i.e. Your handicap for The First Round will be your handicap as of April 15th for the length of the round.  It will update at the begin of each match cycle.)

***Any match not played by the cutoff date will result in a coin flip.

Deadlines for completion of matches:

• First Round Matches begin April 15 - Matches must be played by May 26th  The winners will move onto the Round of 32.
• Round of 32 Matches begin May 27th - Matches must be completed by June 30th
• Sweet 16 Matches begin July 1st - Matches must be played by July 30th
• Elite 8 Matches begin August 1st – Matches must be played by September 3rd
• Final 4 Matches begin September 5th – Matches must be played by October 1st
• Men’s Finals & Consolation begin October 3rd – Matches must be played by October 29th
